The Waisman Center is located on the western edge of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus near the UW Children’s Hospital. We are happy to accommodate your transportation preference.  Free visitor parking is available immediately outside the Waisman Center in the blue stalls. If you do not have transportation, we can provide taxi service. The Madison Metro bus also has several main routes that stop at the Waisman Center.


The Waisman Center is located on routes: 38, 28, 10, and 2.

Driving Directions:

From the east—follow University Avenue through campus and then bear to the right on Campus Drive. Stay in the right lane and turn right at the University Bay Drive/Farley Avenue intersection.

From the west—follow University Avenue and turn left at the University Bay Drive/Farley Avenue intersection.

After making the turn (from either direction)...
Continue straight past the UW Children's Hospital. The Waisman Center is at the bottom of the hill on the left, across the street from UW Children’s Hospital.

Parking:
All visitors should park in stalls outlined in blue and hang a visitor’s permit from rear view mirror (a parking permit will be provided to you prior to your visit).

Brogden Hall / Psychology Building

The Brogden Psychology Building is located in the heart of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. We are happy to accommodate your transportation preference. Free visitor parking is available immediately across W. Johnson St. from the Brogden Psychology Building in Parking Lot 13. If you do not have transportation, we can provide taxi service. The Madison Metro bus also has several main routes that stop at the Brogden building.

The Brogden building is located on bus routes: 01, 02, 03, 07, 08, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 19, 27, 28, 29, 37, 38, 44, 48, 56, 57, 58, 70, 71, 72, and 80 / 82.

From the east—follow University Avenue into campus and then turn left onto N Randall Ave. Immediately turn left onto Campus Dr, which will turn into W Johnson St. Get into the right-hand lane, and then get into the merging right-hand lane. Parking Lot 13 will come up quickly on the right side just before N Charter St.

From the west—follow University Ave. onto Campus Dr, which will turn into W Johnson St. Get into the right-hand lane, and then get into the merging right-hand lane. Parking Lot 13 will come up quickly on the right side just before N Charter St.

Parking:

All visitors should park in stalls with the signs marked for visitors, and hang a visitor’s permit from rear view mirror (a parking permit will be provided to you when you meet our staff at the Brogden building). Our staff will be waiting for you and will meet you as you approach the building.
